Everytime that We Meet

The white wolf carefully trotted through the long grass, his green eyes searching, eagerly desperately searching, for her. Alu. The She-wolf who was his love and mate. Soul mate.

It had been less than two days since he had seen her, yet he still anticipated her company with great excitement. It was like a drug to him. Everytime they parted, he wanted more. He wanted to be near her, to smell her fur, and nuzzle her warm face.

A black figure came into his line of sight. Even in the slowly retreating light of the setting sun, he knew it was Alu.

A broad grin spead onto his face and his two tails set about wagging dellightedly. Immediately he bounded the last few feet, to greet her with a soft nose bump. His heart skipped a beat as they made contact.

"Alu!" He panted excitedly.
"Ven," Alu replied a slight smile of happiness creeping onto her face as she surveyed him with her fiery red eyes before throwing herself into his paws with excitment.
